On behalf of the Faculty and Students at the School of Business, Leadership and Legal Studies (SBLL) I am pleased to welcome you.

At SBLL, we are committed to providing a solid foundation in Management, Accounting, Economics and BusinessAadministration coupled with Information Technology (IT). Furthermore, our graduates are entrepreneurial, creative and highly adaptable to new and ever-changing workplace environments, possessing essential skills and knowledge highly sought after by employers.

Departments under SBLL

The School of Business, Leadership, and Legal Studies (SBLL) at the University College is a prestigious institution that offers comprehensive programs in business administration, leadership, and legal studies. SBLL consists of two departments: the Department of Accounting and Finance and the Department of Management and Economics.

In both departments, SBLL emphasizes practical application and experiential learning. Students are exposed to real-world scenarios through case studies, projects, and internships, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations. SBLL fosters an environment that nurtures creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship, equipping students with the skills needed to thrive in the dynamic business world.

Department of Management and Economics

The Department of Management and Economics focuses on the study of management principles, organizational behavior, economics, and business strategy. Students gain a deep understanding of how organizations operate, analyze market dynamics, and make strategic decisions.

Department of Accounting and Finance

The Department of Accounting and Finance within SBLL provides students with a strong foundation in financial management and accounting principles. Through a rigorous curriculum, students delve into areas such as financial reporting, taxation, auditing, and financial analysis

We have highly qualified, experienced, and committed faculty who are there to provide teaching and coaching for our students and are also pursuing scholarly research in a myriad of areas such as Social Enterprise Models, Alternative Financing, Budgeting and its impact on Development, E-Commerce in Agricultural Value Chain, Developing E-Commerce Framework for Rural Transportation, Public Financial Management and its impact on Rural/Urban Development and Practicing Green Human Resource Management.
